Celexa is used for treating depression

Mood complications usually result in depression, which can be quite a devastating condition. The sufferer will see no value in living and can easily take his or her life. Fortunately, this condition can be controlled. One of the medications used to treat this condition is Celexa. Permeability glycoprotein (Pgp) helps to transport Celexa up to the brain, where it helps to uplift the patient’s mood.

The drug works by inhibiting the production of chemicals that result in mood swings. The drug has been proved to be successful where others have failed, and there are relatively fewer chances of relapse.
